When employees feel valued, supported, and inspired, that impact extends to the residents, families, and communities we serve. 💙Sometimes, the right opportunity comes along and reminds you exactly why you chose the career you did. When I accepted the position of Regional Director of Business Development with Capstone Healthcare, I walked into this new chapter with a mixture of excitement, uncertainty, and a little apprehension. I had high hopes, but I also wondered if I was making the right decision and whether this would truly be the place where I could see myself growing long-term. Looking back now, I can confidently say that joining Capstone Healthcare has been one of the best career decisions I’ve made. When I say this company has been amazing, that doesn’t even begin to describe it. For the first time in a long time, I don’t walk through the doors feeling overwhelmed or weighed down by the pressures of my position. Instead, I walk in genuinely happy to be there. I’m excited about the day ahead, the people I get to work alongside, the relationships we’re building, and the difference we’re making.
And that feeling is absolutely priceless.
I’ve spent so many years building my career in healthcare, learning, growing, facing challenges, and always pushing myself to do more. Along the way, I’ve learned that a title, a salary, or a position means very little if you don’t have peace, purpose, and people who make you feel valued. At Capstone, I’ve found all three. I’m surrounded by teams who care, leadership that supports, and people who genuinely want to see one another succeed. Every day brings something new, and instead of dreading the challenges, I look forward to finding solutions, celebrating our wins, and continuing to grow together. One of the greatest feelings in your professional life is realizing that you’re no longer searching for where you belong because you’ve finally found it. I truly believe Capstone Healthcare is my long-term home. Not because every day is perfect or every challenge is easy, but because I know I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.
To the leadership who believed in me and the incredible teams I have the privilege of working with every day, thank you. Thank you for reminding me that healthcare can still be exciting, fulfilling, and rewarding. Thank you for creating an environment where people can thrive, not just survive. I don’t just love what I do. I love where I get to do it and who I get to do it with.
